Black Solid
Is there a way to restore the solid black on black shirts?

I have some long-sleeved black shirts (as henleys) have faded, there is nevertheless guarantee that the new black back?

I agree with everyone else … dye back into the black! Let absorb the dye more the recommended time, tho, and not too wet clothes at once as you can get uneven coloring if leaders are unable to move freely. You do not want folds or creases in the material, so you'll need to wear gloves and shake the clothes around occasionally for even exposure to dye.

The repositioning of the black male

In the first presidential debate, Sen. John McCain has repeatedly accused the former senator Barack Obama lacks experience, be naive, and most ironically, not knowing the difference between a tactic and a strategy. It 'was a portentous statement.

Super Tuesday after seeing the maverick and war hero (aka) McCain down in defeat, state after state, one thing was clear: "that one" (aka Obama) not only knows the difference between tactics and strategies, but has mastered them. Has shown that there is no need to be a former prisoner of war to effectively use tactics and strategies to achieve your goals.

This article focuses on how black males can use the same tactics and strategies used by President Obama to reposition themselves for success in their efforts to boost trade and movement black male.

First, let's define terms to ensure that we are on the same page and speak the same language:

Tactics: a device to an end.
Strategy: a careful plan or a method, a clever stratagem b: the art of devising or employing plans or stratagems toward a goal. (There are many references made in its war definitions alternate: so why the arrogance of McCain).

The commonly used and often misunderstood concept of "position" was created by pioneers Marketing Al Ries and Jack Trout in the 70s. In their view, the position is simply to occupy a unique position in the mental mind. We are all positioned in one way or another. The positioning is the deliberate effort to establish and control their position. To relocate is to change or improve their position. The act of positioning and repositioning must be designed and used as an element of strategy.

Now we turn to the specific how the repositioning of male blacks can be achieved through lectures by race historic campaign of President Barack Obama.

First, I must say that while both blacks and whites deftly handled racial issues in this election with stunning diplomacy, we all know – if we care to admit it or not – that sexuality race, as it is always a problem. It 's the big elephant in the room that we are aware, but tries to ignore, as I try to ignore the fact that now I have more than a decade experience working in Corporate America and are still at work next to another black male. With the election of our first black president, maybe a trickle down will take place and employers will be able to overcome any racial problems that may affect my situation (or isolation), and an increase in the male black will occur.

There is no doubt that we crossed a racial barrier epic – but we still have many battles to fight. We can not be naive, racist issues (Not to be confused with racial issues), still exist and certainly surface during the Obama presidency. Many of the racial issues that effect men and concern, especially black, can now be discussed openly and politically because they were eclipsed by universal concerns during the elections. Focus on them would create the appearance of unbalanced perspective for Obama. After all, blacks are esoteric issues.

Obama campaign team, led by David Plouffe, and his chief strategist David Axelrod, have recognized that one of the key principles of the campaign was, in fact, to avoid discussions focused on race. From surveys and interviews, the campaign has already concluded beginning that it was essential to define Obama's candidacy in terms that would transcend skin color.

Who were their first efforts to? Blacks. Apparently, they considered it vital to get blacks to go beyond their "natural skepticism that one of them could actually become president. They knew that Obama should move to be chosen as leaders because leaders do not choose their followers, followers choose their leaders – regardless of race.

In a report MSNBC.com on by Adam Nagourney, Jim Rutenberg and Jeff Zeleny, the Obama campaign team has made the following quote: "The biggest problem we had to race not solve was with white voters, "said Axelrod," but the African-American voters, a deep sense of skepticism that this could happen. "

What do you think?

These are called intraracial issues. They offer a window, if not a measure, how long the roots of negativity and its insidious effects may have on the psyche of an oppressed people. We were really skeptical? Yes, initially, but we were not questioned the competence of Obama, there were doubts of its possibility on the basis of our system and our individual and collective experiences black.

After identifying the obstacles to the White House, the Obama camp had their agendas, a mission and a message. They were all set to run a course manual repositioning of Obama, America's men and offer valuable lessons blacks they could use to transform their lives and achieve greater success in their professional activities.

This leads us to a lesson in repositioning the black male: remove skepticism – in the first place – and identify the obstacles to your success.

With the Obama campaign mantra of change that can believe, YES WE CAN!, have created a strategy to generate fuel hope and loyalty at a time when our nation is at war and serious economic problems, while simultaneously instilling optimism in the psyche of African Americans, and the vast majority of Americans in the process.

The strategy was brilliant, but not surprising when you consider that Obama wrote a book called The Audacity Of Hope, in which he wrote: "Hope is that thing inside us that insists, despite evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us if we have the courage to go for it, and work for it, and fight for it. "The tears that flowed so copiously during his acceptance speech were tears of hope. He understands clearly that there can be no hope optimistic. He may decide to call his next book The benefits of optimism.

Lesson 2 in the repositioning the black male: understanding the mental and emotional people will serve to inspire optimism. Building a bridge from them to you (not vice versa).

Psychologist Martin Seligman author of Learned Optimism, said the optimism was defined by researchers as simply see the positive side and suggests that the explanation of why something happens has a major impact on how they will act in the future and what your actions will bring results. This in turn has an impact on your eventual self-esteem and self-image. Optimists expect the best results, even during setbacks, and are more motivated to achieve it.

This is the reason that a record number of blacks, young voters and first time shed their apathy and zeal directed to the polls in record numbers, representing 13 percent of voters.

The meaning of optimism should not be underestimated. Since studies show that men blacks live 7.1 years less than other racial groups have higher mortality rates higher than women for all leading causes of death and the death experience disproportionately higher rates in all major causes death would be interested to know that optimism increased health benefits. The May 2008 of the Harvard Men's Health Watch explores Possible reasons for this connection.

Among the report's findings: Highly pessimistic men were three times more likely to develop hypertension, and people who show positive emotions were the lower blood pressure. In one study, the most pessimistic men were more than twice as likely to develop diseases heart than the most optimistic. This is welcome news since 40% of men blacks die prematurely from cardiovascular disease compared to 21% of white men.

The report concludes: These results argue convincingly that the optimism is good for health. It 'possible that optimists enjoy better health and longer lives because they lead healthier lifestyles, build stronger social support networks, and get better medical care. Moreover, optimism may have biological benefits, such as lower levels of stress hormones and less inflammation.

Because I know that many black men are the church of course people are sure to revel in the fact that the Bible also contains scriptures on optimism and its effects. Results (Matthew 8:25-27) pessimism from lack of faith. The pessimism is born of doubt, optimism born of faith. Repositioned the black male will have more confidence in himself and will prove to be adept at gathering the faith of those who were once reluctant to give. Overtime will be the norm.

Cornell Belcher, a pollster who worked for Obama's campaign and voting behavior studies racial told the press, "It would be difficult for an African-American to be elected president in this country, however, it is difficult for an extraordinary individual who appears to be African-American to be elected president. "Obama made mention of this in his acceptance speech when he said:" I've never been the candidate for the office. "But racing anyway. And she ran unlike any other presidential candidate in history because he had to. Analysts say ran a perfect campaign that was extraordinary in its execution.

Lesson 3 in the repositioning of the black male: understand that being qualified starts in your mind your self-image, the most likely candidate at least can still get the job. Moreover, it is no longer the candidate less likely.

Like Obama, you must make your mission to get employers at ease with yourself and the role which will take place in their societies, demonstrating its ability to handle the challenges within this role. If the values are in line with their own, all you have to do is to effectively manage expectations and deliver – which is what the world is waiting for Obama to do.

It was obvious from the outset Obama was a skillful politician, but he got better during the elections in the same way that every talented and driven athlete gets better as the season progresses. E 'became superlative during the playoffs of politics, on the eve of elections, and was simply indomitable in each of its debates. He not only win the election, he restored faith in the integrity of the presidency while in repositioning himself and shows strong character.

Lesson 4 repositioning black male: solid character display any time.

Where does the process of character building start? At the beginning of the trip: at home with parents and in college. Intensifies when pursuing experience and skills necessary to successfully navigate through your career when you enter the workforce. No matter where you want your vocational journey to bring because most people can not imagine where they are going to end up, they just need to be prepared to succeed when they get there.

You probably never imagined that Obama be president when he worked with victims of housing and employment discrimination. This experience, along with teaching at the University Chicago Law and landing a seat in the Senate clearly helped him acquire the skills, knowledge and experience to navigate the slopes slippery in the political process without getting tripped – despite the disproportionate lack of experience he had over McCain.

Lesson 5 to reposition the black male: the lack of experience does not mean lack of opportunity unless you let it cool.

As mentioned earlier, for many American character takes shape in college. For men, blacks, the participation of colleges – the colleges and universities – is declining. According to the 2006 Spring Education Integrated Post-secondary survey data System (IPEDS), black, non-Hispanic male students had the lowest degrees – 16 percent – among all male students Minority Community College.

In an article published in 2007, disappearing At The Vanishing Black Male On Community College Campus, Lawrence I. Foreign and Dr. David C. Mosby write: What is most alarming about the current state of black male in America's community college campuses is that those in positions of leadership have been slow to recognize the situation as an emergency and were almost reluctant to report their responsibility to take corrective action. The accumulated research studies on student retention, black male can be a source of community colleges to gain some understanding of how they can be adequately respond to the epidemic.

Over the past 33 years, black women have enrolled in college four years at rates greater black men, according to results of a new study by the Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA's Graduate School of Education and Science information. In 2004, black women made up 59.3 percent of all for the first time, blacks full-time students attending four year institutions, compared to 54.5 percent in 1971.

With this type of research and data, because there were no special initiatives or increased mobilization from college to solve this problem? The My research has found a potential answer:

Black male enrollments are shockingly low in many schools and universities, even those who have good results to attract a different student body. While some demographers have noted the situation for years, many schools have avoided addressing the issue head on, fearing that doing so could reinforce stereotypes, offend women, or draw conservative criticism.

Maybe Obama will put this on his growing list of priorities. He is aware of the issue and raised on several occasions, the first of its Democratic National Convention speech when he said: "Yes, we provide more tools success for young men who fall into lives of crime and despair. But we must also admit that programs alone can not replace parents (and) that the government can not turn off the television and make a child … homework that fathers must take more responsibility for providing love and guidance their children. "

Last year, at the NAACP forum July 12, 2007, he was also quoted as saying: "We have much work to do when more young blacks men languishing in prison attending colleges and universities across America. "This is incorrect. The media has perpetuated the myth bringing the total number of detainees male blacks, compared to the total number of college-age (18-25) male blacks. accurate statistics reveal that since 2005 there are, in fact, most older black males enrolled in college colleges and universities who are incarcerated in the same group.

Lesson 6 to replace the black male: enhance and expand your training with a view to becoming more intelligent. This includes, but is not limited to, enrolling in school. Education and shape the character is a tactic fundamental to our strategy for global success. Education shapes the values, perspectives alter, and fosters altruism. Studies show that there is a direct link between the increase and lower levels of education links crime and violence – even within the prison system.

Education is also the source from which the tactical resolutions to the problems described above and those that have plagued us for centuries will be spawned. The black male repositioned to encourage new generation of black men to take in other sports and entertainment activities at a younger age. We need to deepen our talent pool of managers future policies that can initiate and support change. A generation of young people who, like Obama, will be efficient in the use of tactics and strategies to achieve results.

This is the crux of the success of President Obama. Success is within closer reach for the black male repositioned those who understand that the placement is an art, psychology, and science. It is not just for smart, psychological, or scientific, but for visionaries who want specific improve lives and a greater share of resources for their families, their communities and themselves.

And while we have achieved our most important goal, as black men, we must now look ahead to the future and prepare ourselves in this, the way Obama did when contained his emotions, less than 30 minutes after being elected, and had the presence of mind during his brilliant moment to take this opportunity to manage the soaring expectations noting in his acceptance speech:

"The road ahead will be long. The climb will be steep. We could not get there in a year or even one term, but America – I have never been more hopeful than I am here tonight with you. I promise you – we as a people we succeed there will be … be setbacks (see previous paragraph optimism and setbacks) and false starts. There are many who will disagree with every decision or policy that I do as President, and know that government can not resolve any problems. But I'll always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen, especially when we disagree. "

lesson final repositioning of the black male: always see the big picture and your place in it.
