Why do you need to put in charge of IFP or socks over your stirrup leather?
oohh okay … thanks also would u like a sock on PUR ur skins?!?! APPLES ROAD: 1 more question … lol … kk so u kno when you put the saddle leather and skins are not just a piece of their leather loop so well do u put it on a (the one who "rubs the saddle") or both?
I was looking for a saddle, once, and the shop asked me to help protect the seat of pre-purchase so that the stirrup leathers not rub on the skin again, and put dents in it, if I end up buying. So I had to get maim and football socks them to honor their wishes … I tell you, however, was a real pain in the @ $ $, because the skins kept sliding, instead of my weight, keeping them in same place. EDIT: You put on a hole cut in the toe socks and slipping them over the skins, you have all the buckle together before putting them in the saddle, so just put the sock over the top, and hook the leather saddle. You can still adjust the skins, so do not worry about that until you're in the saddle. EDIT: Vetwrap may be an idea better, so you do not have the problem that I did with the skins slip all over the place. Be careful, though: I think someone in this section only vetwrap was stuck for a saddle test … maybe put vetwrap over the sock? EDIT: Have you taken the stirrup leather of a saddle off first? Lift the flap on the saddle, and you will see a metal bar that has a end, not connected to the saddle, and can be raised. Flip the tab on the end down (you may need some leverage) and slide the skin off the bar (if it already there). If the skins are not attached to the saddle, buckle together in a continuous loop and thread through the sock, with the buckle poking out of the top. Slide the skin on bar. Depending on the type of bracket you are using, this may take a while 'to understand so that the chains are not reversed. Once you slip the skins on the saddle not take the tongue back up … only a safety precaution (in case you get carried away, you want the brackets to come out). If you have one of those strange saddles which has the flip-down card, you are going to do the following: Thread skin down through the bar so the buckle is at the top, when you pull all the way through the sure – it is oriented correctly. Put the sock on the skin (which is going to be gym-sock length). Put on the iron bracket. Putting on another sock on this side of the iron. Buckle skin, and you're ready to go. Make sure your iron are oriented correctly. If you want to use Vet Wrap, add the skins, after adjusting for the right length.
